Into the Men’s Conference – Men Finally Speak

WHAT WE MEN WANT

Man is a being with so much potential which is best unleashed through the help of his better half. Thus it is important that the wife or wife to be, know a few things about what we want and expect of them through the following letter.

Love

Our definition of love is in two ways:

Relational love

Please love those we love first, if you love us. I.e. our moms, our friends and our siblings. Otherwise you love us, you do so with all that we have and are.

Self-love

After falling in love with you, every day we wish to make love to you please stop falling sick all of a sudden and getting tired.

Loyalty

Loyalty/devotion/respect whichever language you understand best, is our ultimate language of love and care. Backstabbing and infidelity is not even a question for debate, don’t even think of them. Moreover, don’t give us a reason to doubt and be jealous of you please.

Appreciation and support

Men and power are one thing…almost twins. So please, help us feel powerful, worthy and ultimately the head of the home. Appreciate our little efforts, even coming home early- it took us sacrifice and compromise, don’t take it for granted. Support us in our projects, and let us feel your backing because we know your opposition may make things fail and we may not have the will and nerve to bring down our ego and pride. Even when you’re sure it’s not going to work, say it softly and tenderly. When we consult you it’s because we believe in your opinion. Appreciate!

Communicate

We are not in your mind please, just speak up. This is not to mean we don’t love you to know and understand you, rather we just want to hear you say what we think you are trying to communicate. Don’t just think it in your mind that it is common sense, it’s just never is common to us all. Speak up too we will listen. Shun nagging please, it puts us off.

Ladies, I hope I was clear enough, when you consider above points, there shall be showers of peace and blessing in the home.
