The Greatest Marriage Proposal of All Time

I know you can't wait to hear about my marriage proposal story...Sorry to disappoint you because I also cant recall the details of it all. However, that shouldn't bar us from talking about this great topic. Right?
What I know for sure, marriage proposals are quite important to both the giver and receiver. Its such a good invitation from the groom- to -be, to share his life with the love of his life.
Here, he opens his heart to his dear bride on what she should expect of him and of the relationship as a whole.
Lets break down this invitation by Jesus to what he offers in it:

- I will give you rest: Spiritual provision
- Take my yoke upon you : Partnership
- Learn from me: Insight
- I am gentle and humble in heart: Comfort
- My yoke is easy and my burden light: Relief
He invites us to marry ourselves to Him first and foremost, then all the other relationships (even that of marriage with your spouse) shall come second.
