12 Blogs to New Year

Festivities Within Festivity

Festive season is a happy time. The warmness, the small joys, the bonding…it’s just awesome to think about it. It’s a time for party after party. A time to celebrate achievements and successes of handwork through the year. Three major festivities are scheduled for this season.

Graduations

After four or more years of study, comes a celebration of hard work and success. Many universities and colleges schedule their graduations for end year. Starting December’s first Friday, the month is filled with pomp and celebration for academic achievements. Many in the past have even celebrated doubly or triply. I.e graduation, a fiancée/wedding and new born. Whatever combination, it’s all part of graduation. Someone is graduating from one glory to the other.

Engagement

Love birds also plan surprises for their loved ones. Many are engaged on this festive month giving them a more right and security to the authenticity of their relationship. It’s a moment of laughter and a joyful cry. Engagements insight wedding bells which are craved for by many. Whichever way they are done, i.e. in the kitchen, in the public eye or even in the outdoor where a couple to be decides to spend time together, it’s always beautiful.

Weddings

For others though, it’s even happier. It’s that day of their life when they are really happy with friends and family.  Celebrating their love story and a beginning of a life together. Every weekend is filled with weddings more than one of someone you know sometimes and you are even torn into which one to attend. Others are even forced to have it on weekdays as many companies and institutions close up to give their people a holiday. Weddings bring happiness as they are followed by honeymoon. Time to bond more with your darling. And the new couple crosses to the New Year rejuvenated for life ahead.

Clearly, it’s a time to spend. Spending time, spending money, spending ideas, spending just about everything. Only this time, do we do it the right way with the right people? People are busier with each other rather than their jobs and daily hustles. Others actually even have time to spend their wealth and resources with the less fortunate.

So then, what are you spending this season and with who are you spending with. What’s your highlight celebration for the year? Share with us.
