The January Factor
Some have called it the longest month of the year and had December be the shortest. Reason being December is a festive month, one full of pleasure and leisure and joy. No one ever wants hard times, uncertainties and brokeness that comes in January for the poor spending habits of the past month. It's that month of the year when life seems tougher than normally so. With hidden bills, shopping for school as well as home, school fees and all.
The fear of the future for the new year is all rested on the January month making matters even worse. I know at one point in your life, you've experienced the January factor of debts and more debts with nothing much to survive on. All said though, January should be one of the best months of the year. Here is why.
1. It's a time to reflect
Being the first month of the year, it's Time reflect and to make amends of the past year. Time to give your life another better shot. Time to hope, believe and plan. Time to give yourself and your support system a chance to do it right again or even better. Time to give your changed frienemy a chance to proof himself worthy.
2. Time to work harder
You probably didn't reach your target last year. January gives you the opportunity to plan early and have a better strategy than last. An opportunity to work harder and achieve results as earlier compared to the last. January gives us an opportunity to build the ruined and mend the broken inorder to Achieve better results.
3. A time for Resolutions
It's a time to change gears. If you were running, you slow down. If you were crawling you walk if you were walking you run and the cycle goes on and on. Someone just needs to change their way and try out something new however risky. And that someone could be you. It's a time to make new resolutions and have a blueprint of what the year might be like.
4. Time to Appreciate and value
It's a time to appreciate what you've had before rather than taking it all for granted. With all the money you had the past month gone, it's a time to value every little coin available and use it for good. It's a time to live and survive as it should be. Not extravagantly but temperately. A time to appreciate and value resources bestowed to you however little you have left.
5. Time to invest
With everyone almost as broke, it's the best time to invest. Offers are still running by now and you can save a few coins over your months shopping. Real estate and businesses are not soo low but before the month goes down, they will be quite down. If you have something in your savings, you will want to take the opportunity to invest
on something to give you good returns before things start sky rocketing.
